Me-109
Me-109
The Me-109 has long been a favorite PSS subject and one of Slope Scale's best sellers. One of the best things about the Me-109 is the multitude of scale paint schemes available. You can choose from literally hundreds of different schemes.
The kit features a detailed fibergalss fuselage with the window detail, fillets, and gun slots molded in. It also comes with a separate radio hatch. The wing cores are our standard modified RG-14 section. This kit builds slightly heavier than some. The ideal flying weight is 40 to 50 oz although it can be built anywhere from 30 oz up.

P-63 Kingcobra
P63 KingCobra
The P-63 Kingcobra (or P-39 Airacobra) has been the most popular Slope Scale kit over the years. The flight performance is just a little better than most any other PSS plane I've flown. The reason for this is hard to explain. The design differs little from most of the other kits, yet it flies better.
The kit features a fiberglass fuselage with a separate hatch. The fuse is designed so that it can be used as an electric or as a sloper. The large hatch covers a flat tray that can be used to mount batteries or ballast. The wing core is a highly modified RG-14.
The best flying weight for the Cobra is between 30 and 50 ounces. Although with a light layup fuse you can build this kit around 20 oz if you're careful. The electric version will weigh about 30 oz with a small brushless speed 400 style motor and a 3S 2100 battery pack.
This is my electric cobra, 29oz ready to fly with a 2100 3S lipo. I run a Mega 16-15-6 motor. The performance is great with this setup. It's not ballistic but fast enough to be fun and easy to launch and fly.

P-51B
P-51B Mustang
The P-51 Mustang is a favorite among PSS flyers. Everyone seems to build the D-model, but the B-model actually flies a little bit better (unlike the full size). This kit features a fiberglass fuselage with canopy frame detail molded in, fiberglass hatch and scoop. Wing cores are blue foam, modified RG-14 section. This one can be build from the low 30 oz range, up to as high as you dare go.0

Slope Scale F-20
F-20 Tigershark
This was designed to provide a more scale looking F-20 sloper. Most of the other F-20 kits are stretched, thinned and rather un-f20 looking. This one was also designed to reduce the pitch instability that most F-20 slopers suffer from. This instability comes from the short tail moment and from the horizontal stab being directly in line with the wing. At slow speeds this causes some elevator blanking, resulting in minor pitch oscillations. This F-20 was designed to reduce this while still looking like a real F-20.
The kit features a fiberglass fuselage with a separate hatch and belly pan. This reduces the work the builder must do. The wing section is a modified RG-14.
Flight performance is best when build between 40 and 60 ounces and when flown on a good slope in 20+ mph winds. This is not a light wind ship.
